About Me

        My interest in massage therapy grew out of a deep fascination with anatomy.  I love learning about the intricate workings of our bodies.  In college I majored in physical anthropology which is the study of people.  I focused on learning about the human skeletal system.  Even though we generally think of bones as being rock solid, our entire skeleton is replaced every seven years as our bodies sculpt our bones according to our needs.  

        After college I wanted a career in which I could directly help people.  Knowing the bones so well came in handy in massage school when I learned all the muscles.  I’ve also learned that our bodies have an innate healing wisdom.  Sometimes I feel like I’m reading the body instead of consciously analyzing every stroke during the massage.  If you would like to experience my unique touch, please contact me to schedule your massage.
